Staff at Banbury firm Norbar Torque Tools invited schools to participate in an art competition to brighten the walls of its new factory on the Wildmere Industrial Estate.

Children from Warriner and Chipping Norton secondary schools and Bloxham, Wroxton, Dashwood, Bishop Carpenter and The Grange primaries created works of art now in pride of place on the factory walls. Norbar managing director Neill Brodey said: “Children have fantastic creativity and our challenge as educators and employers is to nurture that creativity.” Mr Brodey is pictured with pupils Sam Dickins, Oliver Dixon and Keira Leigh and Ashley Snowden of Norbar who came up with the idea.
