Police appeal to trace missing pensioner with links to Banbury

Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help to locate a missing man with links to Banbury.

John Lawton, 83, was last seen by a relative in Manor Farm Close, Windsor at about 6pm yesterday (Thursday). Mr Lawton had until recently lived in Banbury and frequents the Dedworth area of Windsor.

He is 5ft 10ins, of slim build with short grey thinning hair and brown eyes. When last seen he was wearing a blue cap, dark green anorak, dark blue corduroy trousers and black boots.

Sgt Michael Parker of Windsor Police Station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have seen Mr Lawton to contact police as soon as possible. We are concerned about Mr Lawton as he is elderly, has dementia and has been missing since yesterday. His family are extremely concerned about him.”
