A photographer based in Chacombe has just got back from filming with the BBC for this year’s Countryfile photo competition.

Rosy Burke of Chacombe joined eight other panellists last Wednesday to judge 32,000 entries for the subject ‘Animal Magic’. Presenters John Craven, Bill Bailey and Charlotte Uhlenbroek judged the remaining 3,000 photos last Friday, with the 12 winners being announced on a programme to be aired on August 31 . Mrs Burke, who won the Judges Prize in the competition back in 2005, said: “I really enjoy judging this competition as there are a lot of quality images.”
