Parents are advised to visit the Oxfordshire County Council's website for information on school closures as a result of industrial action next Thursday.

Parents across Banburyshire are being urged to plan ahead for the teacher strike that is set to take place on Thursday, July 10.

It is not known how many schools across Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire will close or partially close as a result of the industrial action, but it is inevitable that some schools will be affected.

For those who have children at schools in Oxfordshire, information will be collated at www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/schoolclosures

For those living in Warwickshire, parents can also find out if their children’s school will be closing by signing up to the Warwickshire County Council’s school closure service.

The service will automatically issue a text message to subscribers when their selected school closes. To sign up, text SCHCLOSURES followed by the school’s DfE number and On to 07950 081082.

Alternatively keep updated at www.warwickshire.gov.uk/strikes for the latest information.
