A new food and drink event is being introduced to Banbury next month.
Bee Petch, who has launched the Connecting through Banbury business initiative, is encouraging traders to take part in regular events promoting their businesses starting in July.
Connecting through Banbury is based in a unit above Hair Concepts in Marlborough Road and Ms Petch organises talks, workshops and one-day trade fairs in a bid to promote business in Banbury.
She said: “The past few events we have done have been really successful. There was a lot of support for the first event and we want to be able to help traders in any way we can.
“We are still finding out what food and drink traders are out there, so if people want to find out more they can always contact me.”
She is hoping to run food and drink fairs on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Beauty and gift product businesses will also be involved in the events.
Ms Petch held a very successful health and wellbeing event at the beginning of the month and is now hoping to offer a slightly different service that promotes the town to visitors. She said: “We are working hard to bring people together and promote unique products that people have not come across before. It will be these high quality products that we will look to make more accessible for the people of Banbury.
“We have held meetings to find out what we think the town needs and these business events will be a good opportunity for traders to come together and get to know one another.”
