Cropredy Mummers were out and about in the village on New Year’s Eve entertaining residents with their traditional tale of St George and the Black Prince of Paradise which featured a host of colourful characters.

The family play, which is centred around a well-known story, is updated every year with topical humour from the year gone by. The mummers were performing their ten-minute show in aid of local charity Banbury Young Homelessness Project (BYHP) based in Chandos Close.

Pictured left to right are mummers Stephen Wass, Verna Wass, Caroline Watsham and Grace Rourke getting ready to wow the Cropredy crowds.
