Police have charged a 22-year-old man with attempted grievous bodily harm with intent and a drugs offence.
Tabase Ahmed of Park Road, Banbury, was charged on Tuesday with one count of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent and one count of possession of Cannabis with intent to supply.
The charges follow an incident on Tuesday in which a car was reversed towards a police officer in Banbury.
The officer was not injured.
Ahmed was released on bail to appear at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on April 28.
