The National Trust venue near Banbury will be welcoming families later this month to explore the property and hear all about the love stories which evolved during the Second World War.

They will also be able to warm the hearts of their own loved one by crafting a 1940s style Valentine’s Day card at our special event.

In the house visitors can get involved in the Banking for Victory exhibition by knitting, typing letters and sharing memories of the Second World War.

They can also treat their loved ones to something sweet in the restaurant and a special gift in the shop from the new spring range.

Families visiting for this half term will also be to explore the grounds with an exciting new Land Army Trail. Children can learn more about the contributions of Land Girl, complete the quiz and collect a prize.

The Land Army trail will run from Saturday, February 13 to Sunday, February 21 (excluding Thursday) and costs £2. Normal admission prices apply.
