Edith Warwick, a resident at Larkrise Care Centre in Banbury’s Prescott Close, turned an impressive 104 on Friday.

Mrs Warwick (pictured), who was born in Williamscott in 1910, has lived at Larkrise since December 2011 and is the centre’s oldest resident.

Mrs Warwick was married to Caleb and they had one daughter, Sally. Sally’s daughter Clair had four sons so Mrs Warwick now has four great-grandsons called David, Lee, Lewis and Dan. In her younger days Mrs Warwick enjoyed singing in the church choir and she has always loved animals, especially horses.
