Pupils from the Nagano Seisen Girls High School in Japan are visiting Banbury and Brackley as part of a cultural visit.

Their three-week trip has seen them stay with families from Magdalen College School and this week visit care homes and primary schools in Banbury.

Sue Powell, of Cultural Home Stay in Europe (CHE), which organises the trip, said: “The girls have absolutely loved it. Students from the school have been coming to the area for about 14 years.” Pictured are Mrs Powell and Dominic Copas, Magdalen College School assistant head, the pupils and Brackley Mayor Peter Rawlinson.
