A spring fair organised by the grandmother of a four-year-old Banbury boy due to undergo invasive brain surgery has raised £1,177 to date.

The fair, held in Mollington Village Hall on Saturday, was planned by Gill Zammett to raise funds to support her grandson Jack after his operation in May.

Mrs Zammett said: “So many people have donated either time or money towards the fair and Jack’s wellbeing. The family, especially Jack’s mum and dad, Chris and Rebekah Zammett, are so grateful and overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of everyone.” Picture by Philip Lucas.
