Banbury’s Hawthorne Lodge Vets is supporting a Dogs Trust campaign by offering free microchips for dogs from April 1.

Veterinary nurse Amanda Tudhope said: “We regularly have stray animals brought in that are not microchipped. In the case of a pet being brought in injured, the ability to contact the owner quickly is very important.” By law all dogs will need to be microchipped from April 2016. For more information and to book an appointment, call the practice on 01295 259446.
