The Rotary Club of Banbury Cherwell will be holding the next in its series of Evening With events on Friday March 21 with a dinner followed by speaker Martin Bell OBE.

This series of evenings have proved to be very popular with Rotarians, local businesses and guests. Previous speakers have included David Richards, Bobbie Bragg and John Wooley, the first policeman to find the hideout at Leatherslade Farm following the Great Train Robbery.

Martin Bell is a British UNICEF ambassador, a former BBC war reporting icon and Britain’s first independent MP for 50 years.

Mr Bell was the Member of Parliament for Tatton from 1997 to 2001. He has been a tireless campaigner for honesty and accountability in politics.

The venue is The Whately Hall Hotel, Banbury and tickets are £35 per person which includes a three course meal followed by Martin Bell’s after dinner talk. This is a black tie and posh frocks event.

Tickets can be purchased from Tony Carney or via the Rotary Club’s website www.banburycherwellrotary.org.uk
