Flood alerts in place across parts of Banburyshire

A flood warning has been issued by the Environment Agency for the River Cherwell and the east of Brackley today (Tuesday).

Flooding is expected for Mill Lane, Boundary Road and Shires Road in Brackley and could affect up to 18 properties in the area. River levels may continue to rise for the next few hours, and the flood warning for the River Cherwell is near Lower Heyford. The Environment Agency have said they will continue to monitor the situation and issue updates as necessary.
