With lighting rigs, loud speakers and a sound system, St Leonard’s Church in Grimsbury became a concert hall for four days last week.

The first ever Grimsbury Music Festival was organised by the church choir’s musical director, Kris Reeder, who recently became one of the youngest ever members of the Royal Academy of Arts in recognition of his services to music.

With the town mayor Sean Woodcock in attendance, the festival opened on Wednesday, August 20 with an evening of classical music led by the choir.
