An exciting new venture to help promote business and trade in Banbury is being launched.
Bee Petch is looking to set up Connecting through Banbury, which offers seven days of themed activities in an office space above Hair Concepts Hairdressers in Marlborough Road. A free open day is being organised on Wednesday, April 9 from 10am-4pm and again from 6pm for business owners to find out more.
Ms Petch, who runs a real estate and property management business near the M40, said: “I feel Banbury is in an ideal location, being close to the M40, and there are lots of good things about the town.
“The space will allow visitors, business owners and traders to come together and help Banbury prosper.”
The office space will allow up to eight businesses to promote themselves each day and costs from £20 for a small table or from £30 for a bigger space.
The schedule will see Monday’s theme as local living. Tuesday will be fitness and welfare, Wednesday is business and technology, Thursday is home and gardens, Friday is travel and leisure, Saturday is food and leisure and Sunday is arts/culture.
It is hoped each day will run from 10am to 4pm and every evening there will be a seminar or talk on the day’s theme for £5, which includes refreshments.
Ms Petch said: “I regularly attend business conferences all over the country and they always have a great atmosphere. If I can do something like this in Banbury but on a smaller scale it would be great. We can bring businesses already based in the town together with new visitors who want to know what do in the town, all under one roof. ”
