A talented musician from Middleton Cheney has received the support of Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg MP after setting up a jazz group more than a year ago.
Kris Reeder plays trombone for the 1984 Ensemble and they perform a range of ‘free jazz’ music at venues across the country. Mr Clegg sent a letter passing on his good wishes after hearing about their performances across Europe. Mr Reeder said: “It’s great we have been recognised by an internationally-acclaimed political figure. I hope we continue to build on our track record of producing quality music.”
