Teachers and children at Harriers Banbury Academy have been busy creating an outdoor classroom. The Early Years project began last term to improve the learning environment, with the children working on ideas such as a large walk-in sand pit, water walls and music.
Amanda Gibbard-Atherton, class teacher, said: “Staff and parents worked together to achieve what is an amazing improvement to our outdoor classroom. It was a fantastic team effort.” Businesses such as Travis Perkins, John Nicholls, Argos, Tesco and B&Q have donated materials.
