Talented pupils at Shenington Primary School were given art kits after winning a colouring competition organised in conjunction with estate agency Hamptons International.

Children at the school had their designs displayed in the Banbury branch in the Market Place and Jessica Pratley, seven, and Reilly Prentice-Lord, four, were chosen as the winners after members of the public voted for their favourite.

Chris Scott, sales director of Hamptons in Banbury, said: “This has been such a fantastic initiative and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. Both winners showed huge creativity and we were pleased to spread some festive cheer through this competition.”

The ‘Draw your Perfect Santa Sleigh’ competition was open to children aged between seven and 11 and the ‘Decorate Santa and his Sleigh’ contest was open to children aged between four and seven.

The winning designs will be on display during the Christmas period and the school also received a £200 cheque.
