The Shires Royal British Legion Youth band is on the lookout for more members to join their ever-increasing team of musicians.

They rehearse every Monday at Carrdus School near Overthorpe from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, and are looking for more people to be part of the bugle, drum and glock marching Band. Caroline Prentice, whose husband Kim is the band master, said: “They are such a lovely bunch of kids and there is a real family atmosphere. Everyone is welcome to come along on Mondays and see what we do. “ It costs £2 a week and the first month is free. Call Mr Prentice on 01295 710215.
