Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an assault in Banbury during the May Bank Holiday weekend.

At about 7.40pm on Saturday, May 3, two men aged 47 and 39 sustained cuts and bruises to their faces after they were assaulted by a man in the Wild Lime Pub in Bridge Street.

PC Scott Hughes, investigating the incident, said: “I am very keen to speak to the man shown in the CCTV.

“He is white, aged in his mid to late twenties, around 5ft 10ins and of medium build. He has a shaved head, no facial hair and was wearing a grey top and blue jeans. He has a large tattoo on his right forearm.

“Do you recognise this man? Were you in the Wild Lime pub on this Saturday and saw an assault took place? If you have any information I would urge you to contact police immediately.”
