A talented cake maker from Banbury is celebrating her first year based at a shop in town. Lesley Southam set up Looby Loo Cake Company from her home four years ago and as the business grew she relocated to Cromwell Road and has now taken on her first full-time employee.

Mrs Southam said: “I could not have imagined this year to be as busy as it has been and I can’t even think what it will be like next year. We have done work for the BBC and already have lots of orders for wedding cakes.” Mrs Southam is pictured with Jade Wise, apprentice cake maker.
