The body of a man believed to be Andrew Mark Lever was found in Cambridgeshire yesterday, Monday.
No formal identification has taken place but the body is believed to be that of Mr Lever, who was reported missing from his home in Banbury.
Mr Lever’s next of kin has been informed.
Mr Lever, who is also formerly of Brackley, was last seen by his family on May 17 this year.
Specialist search teams located the body in a car while searching a ditch at Forty Foot Bank, the B1096, between Ramsey and Chatteris, shortly after 3pm.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious.
