DRINKERS will be invited to raise a glass – or two – to toast the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee at Eydon’s first beer festival.
The Royal Oak in Eydon will host a free beer festival on Saturday, June 2 from 1pm-10pm.
Throughout the day the pub will offer a range of entertainment including live music, a beer festival boasting about a dozen beers on tap and barbecue to stem any hunger pangs.
Seven acts will perform during the nine hours, starting with singer and guitar player Jack Crossan.
Pixel Fix will perform Indie pop while the three-piece Blue Road band will perform rock and blues tracks.
Hannah Armitage is a classically trained artist with a stunning voice who is now stepping out as a solo artist, while John Does are a fresh group.
Nina Baker is the night’s penultimate act performing an eclectic mix of pop, rock, acoustic, blues folk, soul and country.
The night will eventually be brought to a close with local blues group Spank the Monkey performing a range of songs.
