George Parish's funeral arrangements are released

The funeral of George Parish will take place at 1.30pm on Tuesday, December 13 at St Mary's Church, Banbury and everyone who wishes to pay their respects to the former Banbury mayor are welcome to attend.

There will be a family burial afterwards and a gathering at General Foods Club, Spiceball Park.

The Keep the Horton General Committee is currently organising a Guard of Honour which will be composed of those who worked with George in Banbury Health Emergency and then Keep the Horton General over his last triumphant campaign.

The family has been very heartened and comforted by the heartfelt response to George’s passing and the wonderful comments and amazing tributes showing love and respect for this incredible, friendly, honest, hard-working, dedicated councillor, health services campaigner and man of the people.

George Parish passed away on Saturday, November 26.
