Emergency services attended two-vehicle collision in Hanwell

Two fire engines from Banbury and one from Deddington were called to Main Street, Hanwell, at 4pm today (Thursday) by police following a road traffic incident involving two vehicles.

Two people were medically trapped but have been released and are now in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

The fire crews made both vehicles safe and used one hose reel, dry powder extinguisher, small gear and drysorb.

Police closed the road but it is estimated to be open again shortly.
