A male cyclist exposed himself to a woman while she was sitting on a bench in Bridge Street Park last Monday.

It happened at about 7.50pm on June 2 when the victim, aged in her forties, was sitting on the bench when she saw a man riding slowly past her on a bike. He then exposed himself and touched himself inappropriately as he rode the bike.

He then rode back past the victim again and continued to touch himself inappropriately. After an exchange of words with the victim, the offender apologised and cycled out of the park and in to Bridge Street.

He is described as white, fair skinned, between 5ft 10ins and 5ft 11ins and of athletic build. He spoke with an accent thought to be Scandinavian.

He was wearing cycling shorts and a t-shirt which were both black with white markings and he was riding a light-coloured men’s racing bike.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
