Two further Hook Norton burglary arrests

Thames Valley Police has arrested two people in connection with burglaries in Hook Norton.

An 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy from Hook Norton were arrested on Wednesday August 3, on suspicion of burglary.

The arrests are in relation to burglaries at the following properties in Hook Norton;

Between midnight and 8am on July 23, a ring, watch and purse were stolen from a house in Hollybush Road.

Between 11pm on July 29, and 9am on July 30, a house on Rectory Road was entered but nothing was stolen.

During the night between July 21 and July 22 a purse was stolen from a property on Ashburton Lane.

Shortly after 2am August 3, a purse was stolen from a property on Sibford Road.

The 18-year-old man was released on police bail until September 6. The 17-year-old boy was released on police bail until August 24.

This follows the charge of Alexander Clifton, of The Glebe, Hook Norton, on August 4, with one count of burglary from a property on Netting Street, Hook Norton.
