Thames Valley Police have released an image of a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Banbury.
At about 3.20pm Saturday July 30 a man entered the Easington Post Office and threatened staff with what appeared to be a black handgun.
A quantity of cash was handed over to the man, who then made off on foot.
Danny Walsh, aged 25, is wanted in connection with the armed robbery, he is white with short black hair and a black beard.
It is likely he will be wearing dark clothing, possibly a hooded top and black trousers.
He frequents Banbury and is known to sometimes sleep in a tent in and around the town.
Senior Investigating officer, Det Insp Nick Glister said: “If you see Walsh please do not approach him, instead call police on 999.
“If you have information about Walsh, his whereabouts or in a non-emergency please call police on 101 and quote reference number 405 (31/7).
“I would like to reassure the local community that we are conducting a thorough investigation into this serious offence. We have already spoken to a number of witnesses, obtained CCTV and carried out extra patrols in the area.
“If anyone is concerned or has questions then please do not hesitate to speak to a police officer or PCSO.”
