Cherwell District Council has met or made satisfactory progress on 95 per cent of its performance targets.
The council’s Executive accepted the Annual Report on Council Performance on Monday. Councillor Kieron Mallon, Cherwell’s lead member for performance and communications, said: “We’ve looked at how key performance areas compared to our 19 public pledges and our business plan and the results are looking good.”
The targets were set out in the Corporate Performance Management Framework and included equalities, programmes and partnership plans. For the business plan, 94 per cent of the performance targets have been met or made satisfactory progress.
