Comedy from two of the greats and some of the best up-and-coming comedians ensures plenty of laughs at Banbury’s Mill Theatre in February.
Mathematician stand-up Matt Parker, fresh from Radio 4’s The Infinite Monkey Cage with Robin Ince and Prof Brian Cox, takes his audience on a hilarious tour through the world of numbers on Friday, February 8.
Expect everything from debunking number nonsense and flagrant sudoku abuse to the mysterious patterns in the locations of ancient monuments... and defunct Woolworth’s stores.
This is a show definitely not just for maths geeks!
On February 16, Barnstormers Comedy Club returns to The Mill with another line up of brilliant emerging talent in a night that features several hugely funny stars in the making.
Eddie Izzard played The Mill in one of his first gigs on his meteoric rise to fame! Barnstormers gives Banbury the chance to catch more stars of the future close up and personal while they are still new and accessible.
And towards the end of the month on February 21, the incomparable Jenny Éclair will perform to a full house in her latest touring phenomenon, Eclairious. Hardly needing introduction, Jenny is wanted all over TV and radio, being a regular on Loose Women, Grumpy Old Women and just about any comedy show worth watching! Only one or two tickets remain for this show.
Tickets for the Matt Parker show, which begins at 8pm, cost £12 for adults and £10 concessions.
The Barnstormers Comedy Night, which also begins at 8pm, costs £10 for advance tickets or £12 on the door.
Jenny Eclair’s show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £17.50.
