Despite the gloomy weather spirits were high as Girl Guide, Brownie and Scout groups were led through the town by the Shires RBL Youth Band.

The route took them from the starting point in Broad Street, up the High Street to St Mary’s church where a traditional service was observed, They then marched back down the High Street arriving on Broad Street at 4pm.
