Police are appealing for witnesses after a child’s BMX bike was stolen from a rear garden in North Street, Grimsbury.

At 10pm on Tuesday, the victim looked out of her upstairs window and saw a man standing in her garden throwing her child’s BMX over the garden fence to another man waiting on the other side.

The victim shouted at the two men but they made off with the bike in the direction of Gibbs Road.

The two men are both around 5ft 3ins and wore dark coloured hooded tops and dark coloured trousers.
