A Banbury beauty business has celebrated its fifth birthday by moving to new bespoke premises in Parsons Street.

So... Hair, Nails and Beauty used to have one hair salon and one nail bar opposite each other in nearby Church Lane, but with an ever-growing client base owner Danni Edgington-Gibson decided to make the move when an opportunity came up.

The two salons have now amalgamated into one with a range of beauty treatments on offer across two floors. A grand opening last Wednesday saw more than 100 people attend.

Mrs Edgington-Gibson said: “It feels absolutely amazing and we’re really proud of it. We’ve designed everything ourselves and have been able to rectify every small issue we had in the other salons.

“I’m really happy we’ve been able to create something bespoke and different.”

But it has not been all plain sailing as the business needed three different planning applications before it could proceed and the building needed a complete overhaul. Mrs Edgington-Gibson said she was incredibly proud of her six members of staff.

“The success is definitely down to them. They’ve worked their backsides off to make this happen and have gone way beyond the normal call of duty,” she said, adding the business is keen to recruit even more talented and devoted staff.

She added: “I believe the reason behind our success is that we’re very good at what we do and we work hard. We want people to come back again and again; the client loyalty we have means absolutely everything and is the reason we can do what we do.”

In addition to offering hair, brow, nail and pedicure treatments, the team has created three beauty rooms named after iconic Hollywood stars Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly; one is dedicated to spray tanning with the other two focusing on more relaxing treatments such as facials and massages.
