Northgate Vehicle Hire’s Banbury branch has showed its commitment to the area by launching a newly-refurbished site and appointing a new branch manager.

The investment in the refurbishment of the Thorpe Way branch has seen improvements to both customer and employee facilities and now features a reception room for workshop and rental customers.

The branch employs 15 members of staff and has a fleet of nearly 300 vehicles.

Northgate hopes the appointment of new branch manager Kam Durall will see him build the company’s reputation for flexibility and excellent customer service in Banbury to spearhead further growth in the local area.

Mr Durall has previously worked as superstore branch manager at Comet Plc.

He said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Northgate as branch manager for Banbury.

“It is a great time to be joining the company due to the rapid pace of change and significant growth it is currently experiencing.

“I intend to put my many years of experience behind the position to ensure the branch delivers a quality service to our customers and that local businesses are aware of the flexible offering Northgate can deliver.”

Graham Edden, Northgate Vehicle Hire’s area operations manager, said: “Kam has both enthusiasm and experience, leaving us confident that he will help drive development in the area and deliver flexible fleet solutions for Banbury businesses. The branch is performing extremely well – the investment in Kam’s appointment and the refurbishment is testimony to this success.”

Branch employee Davinder Rai also celebrated a promotion at the branch last month, from vehicle technician to workshop foreman, following ten years with the company.
