Burglars bag war medals after smashing patio door

Burglars smashed their way through panes of glass on a patio door before stealing Afghanistan and Iraqi war medals from a property in Winter Gardens Way, Banbury last Tuesday (April 15).

Some time between 6.50pm and 11.30pm, offenders smashed their way into the property before conducting a messy search of the house and stealing a number of items, including the two war medals, a silver Apple iPhone 5S with the serial number 358763051283514, a purple iPod Nano, an X-Box 360, a Berghaus Rucksack and a brown wallet containing numerous bank cards and cash.

Police are appealing for information regarding the offence and anyone who can help should contact investigating officer, Detective Constable Steve Perry, via the police enquiry centre on 101.
