BREAKING: Man charged following Banbury ATM arson attacks

A 49-year-old man has been charged with three counts of arson and one count of arson with intent/reckless as to whether life was endangered following last Thursday’s attack on three ATMs in Banbury.

Colin Aries, of no fixed abode, is remanded to appear at Banbury Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday).

The charges relate to ATMs belonging to Lloyds TSB, Santander and Yorkshire Bank, which were all severely damaged in the incident on the High Street in the early hours of the morning.
