Meet on the Ledge will help Banbury Folk Club celebrate its 15th birthday when they appear at the Banbury Cross pub on April 9.
The band was the first to perform at Banbury Folk Cub in 1999 and will now play at the folk club’s new Butcher’s Row venue from 8pm as part of the anniversary celebrations.
Derek and Mary Droscher, club organisers (pictured), said: “Meet on the Ledge are always favourites at the club and at Banbury Folk Festival. This group is as exciting as ever and we are sure they will like the new venue at the Banbury Cross as much as we do!
Folk-rockers Meet on the Ledge are enthral audiences all over the country and feature a line up of founding members Ron Holmes and Allen Maslen, with Phil Dipple on bass and Phil Vickers on percussion.
Oxfordshire singer/songwriter Mark Pidgeon will be the supporting act.
The night costs £8/£7 concessions and people can pay on the door.
The club meets every Wednesday at 8pm.
