A Banbury man accused of the murder of former Blessed George Napier School student Connor Tremble will appear at Oxford Crown Court tomorrow (Wednesday) following a preliminary hearing before Oxford magistrates today (Tuesday).
William Blencowe, 20, of Oxford Road, Banbury, is charged with one count of murder and spoke only to confirm his name and address when he appeared before magistrates this morning.
The charge relates to the death of Connor Tremble, 17, who died in John Radcliffe Hospital on Saturday following an alleged stabbing incident at a flat in Fairacres, Oxford, on Thursday, February 13.
Blencowe was remanded in custody ahead of his appearance at crown court tomorrow.
Friends of Connor let off balloons and lanterns in his memory at Banbury’s Spiceball Park on Sunday evening.
