Banbury man reported missing

Thames Valley Police is appealing for information to trace a missing man from Banbury.

John Bolton, also known as Shane Bolton, was reported missing from his home in Banbury on Thursday August 4.

He is a tall man standing 6 feet 8 or 9 inches and has a stocky build.

It is not known what he was wearing at the time he went missing but he usually wears military style clothing.

He has access to a grey Citroen C5 with the registration plate GN52FJA.

Investigating officer, Det Insp Claire Thorngate from Banbury police station, said: “If you see John or the vehicle we believe he is travelling in, a grey Citroen C5 with the registration plate GN52FJA, please contact police immediately.

“We believe that John may have travelled to Dorset, and he also has links to Bolton, Lancashire, and Blackbird Leys in Oxford.

“If you have any information regarding John’s whereabouts please contact police by calling 101.”
