Two concerts entitled Let’s Dance raised £220 for Sands, a charity devoted to helping those who’ve suffered a stillbirth or neonatal death.

They were performed at the Mill Theatre by pupils from local dance school Encore Dance & Song.

Principal teacher Rachael Foster said several families from the school had been affected by the tragic death of a baby and Sands had always been there to offer comfort and support during their heartbreaking journey of grief.

Rachael, accompanied by several of her young pupils, presented a cheque to Karen Hancox of Oxdordshire Sands. It was particularly fitting that the donation marked Baby Loss Awareness Week..

The school offers classical ballet as well as tap and freestyle modern classes, all choreographed to popular and chart music.
