Hot from his latest European tour, blues and rock singer/songwriter Matt Woosey stops off at Banbury’s Mill Arts Centre as part of his ‘Draw a Line’ UK tour.
The talent has selected up and coming Banbury blues singer/songwriter Sam Martin to support him when he takes to the stage on June 12.
Matt Woosey has recently featured at Ronnie Scott’s in London and the Great British Blues Festival. He has also appeared alongside the Brand New Heavies in Buxton and Rory Gallagher’s lead guitarist Gerry McAvoy in Derby. Later this year he is playing the Durham Blues Festival, the Colne Blues Festival and topping the bill at London’s iconic 100 Club.
Mr Woosey said: “I’m really looking forward to playing at The Mill. I’ve heard some good tracks from Sam so it’s great to have him on board for the night.”
With more than 250 gigs each year, Matt’s stage craft is not to be missed. Tom Robinson of BBC Radio 6 recently tweeted: “Is Matt Woosey the finest acoustic blues guitar player currently working in UK?”
