POLICE are appealing for information about two men were seen trying the door of Costcutters at Tysoe before a break-in early on May 9.
Images of CCTV from the front of Costcutters show both men attempting to open the door of the shop at approximately 2:20am.

Later that day, staff discovered the front window to the shop had been removed and around £4,000 worth of cigarettes, alco
hol, dvds and a small amount of cash were stolen.

At the side of the till, staff found a note with a smiley smoking a cigarette saying "thank you for your stuff."

The CCTV indicates that one man is slightly taller than the other with the taller man estimated at around 6ft tall and the other offender around 5ft 10.

The smaller man was wearing distinctive trainers with fluorescent bands on the front and sides of the shoes.

He was also wearing a loose fitting track suit type garment with the hood down.

The taller man walked with a slight limp and was also dressed in loose fitting trousers and top.

He wore the hood up on his top and was carrying a torch in his pocket.

Warwickshie Police are appealing for anyone who believes they may know either of these men to contact PC Paul Skinner on 01789 414111.

PC Skinner would also like to speak to anyone who saw these men arriving at the shop or leaving with the goods.

Due to the amount of goods that were stolen, it is believed they would have used a vehicle to leave the scene.

Information can also be passed on to PC Skinner anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
