A GROUP of travellers have set up camp in the grounds of a Banbury secondary school.
About 15 caravans with cars and trucks set up home on the field to the back of the North Oxfordshire Academy in Drayton Road on last night (Tuesday).

Speaking today (Wednesday) principal Ruth Robinson said: "We have been working closely with the relevant authorities to ensure notice is served on the travellers to leave the site. There has been no interference at all with the school day and we have continued business as normal.

"We expect the site to be cleared tonight."
