PLANS to continue cleaning and storing portable loos in a village will be considered by councillors tomorrow (Thursday).
An application to use a warehouse at the back of Astell Farm House in Main Street, Claydon, for storage, distribution and industrial purposes has been received by Cherwell District Council.

Council officers have recommended that councillors refuse the plans and start enforcement proceedings to stop the work currently being carried out at the warehouse.

Portable loos have been stored and cleaned at the site for about nine months and villagers have complained of bad smells and noise.

David Hill, chairman of Claydon with Clattercote parish council said: "I hope that common sense will prevail and such businesses that have such an impact on their surroundings should be located in more appropriate business locations."
