NINE deliberate fires have been started in Brackley and police are appealing for information.
Officers are investigating whether the incidents are linked.

Sergeant Tim Pearson said: "There have been a number of fires around the town since the beginning of March.

"We are investigating and we will leave no stone unturned in our efforts to track down the offenders.

"Most of the fires are quite low level and not much damage has been caused but obviously there is a danger to the public if a fire were to spread."

Some of the fires took place at recycling skips at the leisure centre while others happened at Croft and Co in the Buckingham Road Industrial Estate.

Further blazes were lit at the store room of the cricket club, rubbish was set alight near the health centre and debris next to the Brethren meeting room was also set fire to.

Bins in Bridge Street and Rossiter House have also been targeted.

Anyone with information should contact Northamptonshire Police on 08453 700700 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
