SHOPPERS emptied their pockets to support a charity collection day at a Banbury supermarket.
Volunteers and supporters of Leonard Cheshire Disability took donations from customers in Morrisons in Swan Close Road.
The event raised £185.01 which will be used to enable the charity to provide additional activities and new equipment to disabled service users living at Agnes Court in Banbury.
Regional fundraising manager Francois Gallais said: "The residents at Agnes Court, the new Leonard Cheshire Disability home in Banbury, would like to thank staff and customers at Morrison's Banbury who supported the charity's collection."
The charity has two more collections organised this summer. On June 7 volunteers will be at Tesco and on July 12 supporters will be scattered across the town.
Anyone who would like to help the charity during the collections should contact Francois Gallais on 01295 713250 or e-mail
