POLICE have stepped up patrols around Banbury primary schools after reports of an attempted abduction.
A man attempted to grab two boys - aged nine and 11 - outside Orchard Fields Primary School on the Bretch Hill estate last Friday.

A separate reported incident, however, when three ten-year-old boys were approached in Hill View Park on Saturday afternoon, is not being linked to Friday's offence and police have reassured parents that no offence was committed.
