DASHWOOD Primary School is launching an illustrated souvenir book about its history today (Thursday).
Dashwood School 1902 - 2008 is being launched as part of a summer fair at the school's Merton Street site.

It celebrates more than a century of learning and laughter at the school's original Marlborough Place building.

Each copy costs £10 and proceeds go to the school.

The fair runs from 4.30pm to 7.30pm with the book launch being held at 6.30pm.

A barbecue will be on offer, as well as Asian and Polish refreshments and entertainment.
