Man rescued by firefighters

FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man from his car following an accident yesterday afternoon (Tuesday).
At about 12.15pm firefighters from Banbury and Deddington, with the rescue tender from Kidlington, were called to the Aynho Road near the Pontins garage.

They discovered a car in a ditch and released the man, who was taken to the Horton Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident and Thames Valley Police were also in attendance.
